Tzatziki

Refreshing and versatile, tzatziki is a sauce firmly tucked in every home chef’s tool belt. You can add it to crudité, pita wraps, falafel, and anything in need of a creamy, cucumber-y kiss.

Servings: 4 to 5 portions

Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

1.5 cups of Greek yougurt

½ peeled English cucumber

2-3 cloves of garlic

2 teaspoons white vinegar

½ -1 teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon white pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

dill to taste



Instructions

  1. Begin by grating cucumber and squeeze out excess water

  2. In a bowl combine garlic with vinegar, salt pepper, and olive oil

  3. Combine garlic mixture with strained cucumber 

  4. Add Greek yogurt and mix in dill

  5. Best served after one or two hours in the fridge.
