Blackened Salmon

This blackened salmon is seared in a cast-iron pan for a crispy crust and flakey interior.

Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 teaspoon cayenne powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon kosher salt

piece of salmon

butter and olive oil


Instructions

  1. Combine all spices in a small bowl.

  2. Wash and dry your filet of salmon.

  3. Coat the salmon in spices and pan fry in butter and olive oil on medium high heat until cooked.

  4. Squeeze on lemon and enjoy.
