Jalapeño Popper Dip

Spicy and creamy—what more could you ask for from an appetizer? Bring to large parties with friends (with a bag of toasted baguette slices) to be the star of the night.

Total time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese

1 jalapeño

2 tablespoons canned jalapenos

1.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

⅓ cup mayo

⅓ cup sour cream

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon kosher salt

Cracked black pepper

1/2 cup of breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Add all of the ingredients above to the softened cream cheese, leaving aside 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and a handful of shredded cheese for the final garnish.

  3. Add the cream cheese mixture to a baking dish and top with the reserved breadcrumbs and shredded cheese.

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling. Serve with baguette and crackers.
