French Onion Dip

This classic French onion dip is a crowd-pleaser, and the perfect thing to bring to a party. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crispy potato chips, or crunchy vegetable sticks. Creamy and flavorful—simply make a few hours ahead and enjoy.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons of oil or butter

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayo

2 tablespoons parsley

2 tablespoons chives

1 caramelized yellow onion

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by adding diced onion to butter or oil on a low heat and caramelizing it for 40-45 minutes, then let cool.

  2. Combine all of the ingredients and mix well.

  3. Let sit in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours before serving for max flavor. Serve with potato chips, crunchy vegetables, or toasted baguettes.
